culms & leaves of black bamboo

The Southeast Chapter of the American Bamboo Society will host its Annual Meeting & Grove Cleanup on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Bamboo Farm & Coastal Gardens .  This event is free and open to the public.  As we work to cleanup and revitalize the historic bamboo groves, proper bamboo maintenance and care will be emphasized.  Participants will be allowed to take home bamboo poles cut during the grooming process.  The day will also include a live plant auction featuring different varieties of bamboo and a short general membership meeting/Bamboo Q&A session.  For more information, call or email Tracy at 706-255-4901 or tcato@mail.com.
